Amalfi Coast sunshine. Fresh lemon. Botanical character without a gin passport.
MonGin brings gin and limoncello together, but it is not a gin. It is a citrus-forward spirit drink at 30% ABV, with Amalfi Coast Sfusato lemons, juniper, hops and coriander.
Fresh, rounded and unexpected. Not as sweet as limoncello, not as dry as gin. It sits between the two, without pretending to be either.
Made in small batches in Lombardy, Italy.
What makes it different?
Amalfi Coast Sfusato lemons give MonGin its citrus direction. Juniper, hops and coriander add a botanical backbone that keeps the lemon from telling the whole story.
What does it taste like?
On the nose: fresh lemon, citrus peel and juniper in the background.
On the palate: rounded citrus notes with an herbaceous structure.
On the finish: lingering lemon peel and herbal notes.
How to serve it
For a MonGin Mediterranean Tonic, pour 50 ml of MonGin over ice and add 150 ml of Mediterranean or neutral tonic water. Finish with grapefruit peel and a sprig of thyme or rosemary.
Pairings to try
Caprese, focaccia, fish dishes or a lemon dessert. These are starting points to explore, not rules.
